Lying Butt Lifts
Although you might look weird when doing them, lying butt lift exercises are very effective in toning your hamstrings and buttocks.
Follow the five simple steps to an effective ‘lying butt lift’ by POPSUGAR:
Step One: Lie flat on your back on a mat with your knees bent and your arms at your sides. Feet should be hip distance apart.
Step Two: Slowly raise your pelvis up toward the ceiling to a point where your body is 40 to 45 degrees relative to the floor.
Step Three: At the top of the movement, be sure to really flex your butt for one second – try to make it a long second.
Step Four: Now slowly return to the start position to complete one rep.
Step Five: Complete three sets of 12 to 15.
To challenge yourself, put a clock or a pillow between your legs and squeeze. This will work on your inner thighs.
